Community Bible Church at Sunriver, Oregon is a Bible-preaching church. We stand uncompromisingly for the unchanging Word of God. We believe The Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword ( Hebrews 4: 12 ), and that our mandate is to preach the Word in season and out ( 2Timothy 4: 2 ). We are committed to verse-by-verse expository preaching. We are a non-denominational church and thus are not under the jurisdiction or oversight of any denominational or religious governing body. We operate autonomously as the elders are led by the Word of God and the Spirit of God. We are an evangelical church in that we hold to the fundamental tenets of historic orthodox Christianity and reject the liberal ecumenical trends characteristic of many major denominations today.
