Established in 1998, Taft High School is a learning center that is governed by the Lincoln County School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. The school serves more than 800 students in grades 7 through 12. It offers a variety of general academic and elective programs. The school conducts classes in global studies, economics, fine arts and health education. Taft High School operates student organizations, such as the National Honor Society and pep, chess, equestrian, key, and health and fitness clubs. The school offers a range of sports activities that includes basketball, swimming, wrestling, cross country, and track and field. Located in Lincoln City, Ore., Taft High School additionally provides transportation and guidance counseling.
