Founded in 1884, The Stebbins Engineering and Manufacturing Company designs and supervises construction projects of pulp and paper, petrochemical and mining markets. It also designs and installs protective linings for chemical process vessels and reinforced tiles for the storage and processing of pulp, paper stock, chemicals and many other materials. The company employs more than 4,000 people, including brick masons, ironworkers, carpenters, operating engineers and labor foremen. It owns and maintains several equipment, such as scaffolds, head cranes, forklifts, concrete pumps, mortar mixers, rivet busters, hammers and air drills. The company also manages a fleet of motor vehicles, including pickup trucks. Additionally, it has personal protective equipment that includes hard hats, safety glasses and respirators.
