SisterSpirit is a women's spiritual community based in Portland, Oregon, founded in 1985 by Frodo Okulam and a group of like-minded women. With a focus on celebrating the divine feminine, SisterSpirit welcomes women of all traditions and backgrounds, including transwomen, to join their circles and monthly meetings. They also organize the annual PaganFaire, a vibrant artisan Pagan festival featuring a talent show, raffle, and community ritual.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, SisterSpirit has shifted their monthly events to mostly online platforms, such as Zoom, while their office remains closed to in-person activities. They also offer an online newsletter called Spirited Women, and have various Goddess-oriented groups and study circles, including Nature's Magic and a Tarot study group. SisterSpirit operates as a donation-based organization, relying on the generosity of its members and supporters to cover expenses.
