History
I actually started doing massage as a teenager, rubbing my dad's back after work and massaging my mom's hands (with the P.T.'s approval) after her surgeries. Life took me down many other paths until I arrived in Portland in 1988. I entered East-West College of the Healing Arts, and got my Oregon license (#4527) in 1990. I have always had a home business, it's quiet, comfortable for me and my clientele, easy parking, easy to find, and easy access for folks who can't manage many stairs. I also had a booth at Saturday Market for several years, roughly 1991-1995. That was a lot of fun, but very strenuous. For three years I also organized a Massage booth at the Rose Festival. Also very fun, like the Market, only ten times as loud and chaotic!
