Rimsky's used to be the home of two sisters who loved to have music parties and piano recitals. When Goody Cable wanted to have music parties of her own, she opened Rimsky Korsakoffeehouse with two friends so that she could entertain every night of the week and not always have to clean up by herself.

Lurking discreetly in a tall, red (spooky) Victorian-ish house on the *other* 12th Ave. corner half a block past one of those not-actually-Plaid convenience stores, Rimsky's specializes in a Casually Threatening Atmosphere in which to consume Chocolate Raspberry Fools, Rasputin's Vices, and Mocha Fudge Cakes. We hope that you leave here feeling a lot more happy and a little more nervous than when you arrived -- in a good way, of course. We have live classical music almost every night, so you can have very highbrow conversations while being serenaded by guitar, violin, piano or woodwinds, depending on what night you're here, but you can also have lowbrow conversations if you think it will sound good with the music. And don't forget to visit our award-winning restroom --then when people say,
