Dr. Anyachebelu states his reasons for becoming a pediatrician simply: “To help others in a significant way and to make the world a better place.” His most important role, he believes, is to advocate for his patients, families and community. “My philosophy of care is to treat every child as if they were a family member or friend,” he says. “I treat my kiddos with the same dedication and commitment that I would invest in my own close ones. I put their interests first, and I want to set them up for success.” Dr. Anyachebelu earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Ghana. He completed his internship and residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Health Sciences University Pediatrics Program in Brooklyn.
