HistoryWe started in 2009 with 5 rocks in the back of the Napa Parts store in Philomath, Oregon and quickly outgrew it. The shop opened on 9th street in Corvallis in 2011 and we just keep growing. The owner, Hans Neukomm, was born and raised in Corvallis and is active in many civic organizations supporting local businesses and volunteer services. Neukomm's also attends many of the state mineral and rock shows.SpecialtiesNeukomm's Rock Shop and Gem Gallery is located in Corvallis, Oregon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley. We specialize in Oregon Sunstones and carry a wide selection of mineral specimens, lapidary rough and jewelry from all over the world. We offer cutting, polishing and custom jewelry services as well as a variety of classes and a monthly Rock Club meeting. The shop is open 7 days a week, come on by and our check out fluorescent mineral gallery and hand crafted items made by local artisans.
