She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, in 1994. She is board certified in that specialty, and currently limits her practice exclusively to gynecology. She lives in Beaverton, Oregon, with her husband, John, and two sons, Jack and Gabriel. Northwest Gynecology Associates was established in July 2004. Eschewing the typical chaotic physician's office waiting room, we envisioned a warm, inviting environment. We chose soft colors and attractive furniture and artwork. We added seasonal flowers and aromatic candles and we allowed for plenty of natural light. We created a calming atmosphere that lends a healing quality uncharacteristic of most medical clinics. Rarely are appointments cancelled or cut short for medical emergencies. Each woman has her own unique set of circumstances that contribute to or detract from her overall health. Cultivating an understanding of our patients is a crucial component of well-woman care. In addition, we recognize the demands of life's frantic pace. Mindful of that, we offer "in-house" many of the services we routinely recommend ultrasounds, blood draws, products, and aesthetic services.
