History
Melinda pursued a career in professional cooking for over 35 years. She has lived and experienced all aspects of the industry; from hotels, catering, intuitions, family-owned, to a personal chef. She perfected her craft in all types of cuisine when she lived in Seattle, Houston, Mississippi, and Atlanta which has acquired a history of customer satisfaction. In 1999 she started working for herself while working full time for others. In every city she lived she strives and worked to be a business owner. Moved to Oregon in 2008 and formed Mizz'ipi Sistah Chefs DBA Miss'ipi Chef .Ciera Davis, Sous chef of Miss'ipi Chef, has a strong family background of southern cooking resinated from St.Louis, Missouri. As one of six children, she started cooking at a young age and instantly found a love of cooking. As a self-taught chef, she definitely puts her heart and soul into every dish she creates.
