Roy T. Bishop opened a textile mill in S.E. Portland, manufacturing worsted wool yarn. In 1950, the mill opened a retail outlet selling experimental yarns and mill ends from the production lines. Today, Mill End Store is a third generation family-owned business with a second location in Beaverton. Both sores offer everyone from the novice sewer to the professional seamstress an unbeatable selection of first quality value-priced merchandise to meet every sewing need.
