The Widmer brothers special brewing yeast was obtained from the world-renowned Brewing Research Institute in Weihenstephan, Bavaria. America s Original Hefeweizen is an example of the Widmer Brothers brewing success. The Brothers pioneered Hefeweizen beer in America in 1986 and America s Original Hefeweizen has grown in popularity over the past decade.
