Specialties
Jenelle provides a powerful healing experience: a unique style of massage, coaching on simple ways to care for your own body, and a beautiful and authentic connection. Jenelle's style of massage is unlike any other: east meets west with a powerful intuition, ability to adapt to each client's needs and body, and keen intuition. Jenelle seamlessly weaves together techniques from traditional Thai massage and Structural Bodywork. The best of both worlds creates a unique experience that incorporates: - Compression-based massage techniques that apply broad pressure to sore and tight muscles, increases range of motion, and frees up stuck energy - Movement of the body and limbs to increase range of motion and restore joint function - Body reading to assess structural and postural imbalances - Myofascial release techniques Jenelle makes sure to leave each client prepared with tools to use at home to maximize the benefits of the session, and empowered to use them. Key differences: - Done fully clothed - On a thick mat on the floor - No oils or lotions - Movement - Slow, rhythmic pressure - A unique push/pull of muscles that feels powerful yet subtle at the same time - The use of Jenelle's entire body as massage tools: hands, feet, elbows, knees, forearms, and body weight. Often multiple at the same time! - Very adaptable pressure and Jenelle's ability to read the body and not go too deep
