History
Gluten Free Gem Bakery is the former CCP Gluten Free Bakeshop that was located on SW Corbett. We changed our name to Gluten Free Gem when we moved the business to our location on N. Hancock Street at the beginning of April 2011, to reflect our dedication to being gluten free. In January of 2017 we moved again to accommodate the growth of our business and added a retail cafe. Over the years our understanding of eating and baking gluten-free has grown immensely, and so has our menu. We plan on continuing to develop new gluten-free products that help to change the perception of what gluten-free baking can be, and maintain our 100% gluten-free facility, where everything is delicious and safe to eat.

Gluten Free Gem is a full service bakery and cafe specializing in allergy friendly breakfast pastries, desserts, light lunches, and espresso drinks. Some of our product offerings include cakes, cinnamon rolls, donuts, quiche, pretzels, cupcakes, muffins, coffeecakes, cookies, and much more. We have a variety of items that are vegan, dairy free, nut free, and/or soy free. Our retail staff is trained and knowledgeable about food allergies and can help guide you to the products that fit your needs. Gem is a 100% gluten free bakery, which eliminates any risk of cross-contamination. We have researched ingredients to ensure that they are gluten-free and continue to educate ourselves on new research and information regarding celiac disease and gluten-free baking. We take the potential health risks of gluten contamination as seriously as the need for our pastries to taste delicious.
