History
The idea of food cart arose after extensive travels of the two original owners Bob and Tom, to South America and Asia. What started as exciting adventure of crossing border after border turned into the food love affair that did not let go of its zest until today. They came back energized and ready to embark on the new and exciting venture. After countless dinner parties testing various recipes and spices, they rolled out their first cart in the spring of 1994. They hit the ground running and have been providing tasty, healthy and hefty burritos and bowls ever since. Fuego food carts currently consist of 7 carts located throughout the Portland metro area.

Since our inception over 20 years ago, Fuego Food Carts has been built on a simple idea, to offer gourmet food at fast food prices. The success of our mission allows us to operate seven convenient locations in Portland metro area. What we offer are amazing, freshly made and healthy burritos and bowls. Fuego Food Carts after all was inspired by the street-food traditions of South America and Asia, where people can find truly delicious eats parked right on the side street. Each serving comes with brown rice and savory black beans, house made salsa, sour cream or yogurt. Several hot sauces to choose from include house made chipotle and habanero. A marinated grilled chicken or a vegetarian come as a burrito or it can be served in a bowl. Top it off with house made guacamole, spinach, shredded cheese or Fuego's own Portland pickles and you will find a piece of heaven in your mouth. We use only fresh and unprocessed ingredients and our food is prepared daily in our large kitchen. Vegan and gluten free options available.
