History
I have been in practice as an LMT since 1998, specializing in deep tissue massage and injury recovery. I was dedicated to learning as much as I could toward helping people heal from injuries. I trained in MFR, NMT, Structural integration work, and many other tools. In 2000, when an injury to my own spine failed resolution from my traditional therapies and modalities, I was forced to look elsewhere for relief. That search brought me to Ortho-Bionomy. Very quickly, I shifted my practice to the principle of addressing the body in a deeper, yet gentler fashion: through the reflexes and proprioception, via the nervous system. I also continue to study the energetic components that impact our physical, mental and emotional health. People that usually come to my work are having difficulty getting their pain resolved through traditional massage, or they are getting relief, but the results don't stick for very long.
Specialties
People come to this work who are in pain and aren't getting resolution from traditional therapies. Ortho-Bionomy and Cranial Sacral work relieves pain in a respectful, gentle fashion. Because the nervous system is directly accessed, the sessions are profoundly relaxing as well as therapeutic.
