The Multnomah Early Childhood Program provides a range of special education services to children with developmental disabilities. It offers early intervention programs for children up to five years. The program provides services to children suffering from Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, behavioral and learning problems, and speech and language disorders and delays. It offers community-based preschool classes, as well as coordinates child development and support solutions. The program additionally provides health screening and evaluation services for children and their families. It offers consulting, referral, and occupational, physical and speech therapy services. The Multnomah Early Childhood Program is a part of the Multnomah Education Service District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
