The Emerald Christian Academy (ECA) is a Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church school and provides an educational program for students in kindergarten through grade 10. The academy offers physical, mental, moral, social and vocational education for over 3,000 students. Its curriculum includes Bible studies, mathematics, language arts, social studies, English, science and reading. The Emerald Christian Academy also offers classes in physical and computer education, music and keyboarding. The academy s media center stocks a collection of textbooks, reference materials, encyclopedias, dictionaries, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. It operates the Home And School Association, which is a group of parent volunteers and staff and church members. The Emerald Christian Academy is located in Pleasant Hill, Ore.
