It began with a found sewing machine and some used fabric. At the time Dave was a bike messenger in need of a waterproof backpack but could not find one with the desired pockets and features that a custom bag could provide. Nearly seven years and many hundred bags later, the Black Star Bags team is producing some of the best handmade waterproof bags on the streets.
