History
Atlas Mental Health began as a question: how do I, as a therapist, practice in an authentic way? How can I show value for the individual experiences, goals and needs that come with each new person? The answer came simply: Trauma Informed Care. Trauma doesn't have to mean abuse or neglect; it can be all the hurts we carry with us, day after day, until we've worn ourselves into a familiar, but ultimately unhelpful, pattern of behavior. I meet you where you are, and work in a way that is transparent, authentic, and values the strengths and challenges that are brought to the table. As for where I am... Atlas Mental Health is located inside the Justice Rossman House, a historic home-turned-business-center. There are a variety of businesses which promote healing arts in this center, including massage therapists, nurse practitioners, and a meditation circle.
