Specialties
Aqua4Life combines WATSU with other massage techniques for a unique bodywork experience that aims to restore well being and balance to the four interrelated elements of the human body: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Watsu is the world's first form of Aquatic Bodywork offered in a pool heated to near body temperature. The therapeutic effects of bodywork are multiplied by the low-gravity, three-dimensional movement, and the warm, full-body embrace of water. You will be gently and safely floated, rhythmically moved, stretched, and massaged. The body melts into the water. The weightlessness and warmth of the water decompress the spine, loosen joints, and relax muscles. You will feel a freedom of movement that liberates tension. Thoughts and feelings flow freely and are cleansed. A feeling of peace and wellness overcomes the body and spirit. Your session will include a detailed health interview and assessment, the Watsu session, a discussion of the treatment plan, exercises, referrals to resources as needed, and the usage of the spa-like locker rooms with a whirlpool, dry sauna, and steam room. Watsu is ideal for young adults, pregnant women, seniors, athletes, children, and infants.
