The Academy at Sisters, founded in 1994, is a boarding school for at-risk girls ages 13 through 18. The school provides residential treatment to teens suffering from depression, adoption, anxiety, grief and loss, promiscuity, family conflict, learning and conduct disorders, school performance, oppositional behaviors and body image. The school is a member of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs, and accepts applications throughout the year for enrollment. The Academy at Sisters is one of the six programs operated by the private nonprofit organization J Bar J Youth Services, and is located in Bend, Ore.
