Established in 1973, Youth and Family Services of North Central Oklahoma is a nonprofit agency that focuses on preventing delinquency, violence and abuse in families. The organization is funded by the United Way and Medicaid, as well as through several private donations, state and federal grants, contracts and private insurance. The organization is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Located in Enid, Okla., the organization is one of the largest mental health and youth shelter providers. Youth and Family Services of North Central Oklahoma supports a drug court program that includes rehabilitative drug treatment for adults and juveniles with substance-related charges. It offers counseling services to address substance abuse issues. Additionally, the organization provides outpatient and school-based counseling services.
