The University of Oklahoma, founded in 1890, offers a range of graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. It offers courses on a range of subjects that include aerospace studies, anthropology, astronomy, aviation, botany, computer science, economics, environmental design, finance, geology, history, interior design, law, philosophy, political science and sociology. The university also offers classes in dance, drama, fine arts, music, engineering, management and marketing.
