Continental Resources and its subsidiaries Continental Gas, Continental Crude, and Continental Resources of Illinois, are engaged in the exploration, exploitation, development and acquisition of oil and gas reserves, primarily in the Rocky Mountain and Midwest regions of the United States. The company also maintains smaller operations in the Gulf Coast regions of Texas and Louisiana. Continental Resources owns and operates approximately 750 miles of natural gas pipelines, five gas gathering systems and two gas processing plants in its operating areas.
