HistorySummit Church began with the idea of planting a church that would make disciples for the glory of God in the Tri-City area. After a rigorous assessment and training process, Todd and Paige Theissen were selected and approved by the Evangelical Covenant Church to plant Summit Church. Summit Church met for the first time on Mother's Day 2009 in the barn (yes, a barn) of Bruce and Kristie Morain.
