Dr. Grindstaff grew up in Edmond and wanted to come back and start his own practice after Optometry school. He is married and has a daughter named Abby. Optique has been voted Edmond's best eye center three years in a row and was one of three finalists in the Bank of Oklahoma/Edmond Chamber Small Business of the Year 2012. Dr. Grindstaff was also voted The Business Times Top 20 Under 40 in 2013.
