Kiowa High School provides general academic programs for students in grades 9 through 12. The school conducts classes in English, geometry, algebra, biology, chemistry, physics, history and economics. It offers a range of activities that includes music, art, drama and dance. It provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. Kiowa High School offers French and Spanish language courses. The school also provides vocational education programs in accounting, forestry, anatomy, business education and medical terminology. It supports a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, softball, basketball and weightlifting. In addition, it operates a student council that organizes several activities, including cultural programs and field trips. Located in Kiowa, Okla., the school provides transportation, food, guidance counseling and medical care. Kiowa High School is a part of Kiowa Public Schools, which was founded in 1872.
