Founded in 1966, West Side Ecumenical Ministry is a human service agency that helps individual and families meet their needs through programs of services. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, it delivers its services through WSEM food centers, early childhood education center and workforce development center. Additionally, it provides counseling solutions in short-term to approximately 800 adults and children. The agency provides employment-training, placements, and behavioral health services, WSEM added food distribution, crisis support and vital community outreach services and resource referrals. West Side Ecumenical Ministry has received The 2011 Lamplighter Humanitarian award.
