The Sharonville Fire Department provides fire and emergency medical services. It has paramedics who are dispatched as first respondents to medical emergency aid calls received by the fire department. It provides free smoke detectors to residents in private homes and also offers installation services. The Sharonville Fire Department, in association with a children's hospital, provides free child safety seat inspection program. In addition, it offers a Home Safe Inspection program that includes inspecting residences for life safety hazards and unsafe practices, such as the use of extension cords for permanent wiring. The department is located in Cincinnati, and works in association with the American Red Cross to offer a carbon monoxide alarm program.
