Tuscarawas County Office of Recycling & Litter Prevention assists in the cleaning up of road side litter of county and township roads. It works in association with various groups, clubs, schools and individuals and provides Certificate of Appreciation and a promotional item to the participating persons. It offers a variety of programs, such as volunteer program, juvenile litter pick-up program, and reporting litter offenses and open dumping. The department provides educational programs and services pertaining to solid waste issues, as well as offers a resource library of materials, including books, videos and displays that are available to teachers and scouts.
