Thank you for visiting our website. We are the church commonly referred to as that "church right next to the Jackson City Library." We are an American Baptist Church that is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of the USA and the American Baptist Churches of Ohio. We are also affilated with Jackson Ministerial Assocaition We as all Baptist believe in the full authority of the written Word of God and seek to live up to its teachings in all that we do. As a part of those teachings we hold to a believer's baptism by full immersion. In our baptism we demonstrate that we have joined with Jesus Christ in both His death and His resurrection for our eternal hope of salvation. We are far from being a perfect people but we know that by faith in Jesus Christ we are a forgiven people and belong to the eternal family of God along with all others who put their trust in Jesus Christ as the divine Son of God and our Savior. We invite you to come and join with us as we seek to learn God's truth and how to apply it to our daily lives. To help in that search we have Bible classes for all ages at various times during the week. In our worship services we gather to worship God and employ various form of music to offer up our praise. We have a worship choir that is made up of both adults and teens. There is no audition for the choir - the only requirement is a desire to praise God in song with a joyful heart. We also have a Praise team that leads the church in both praise music and traditional hymns. We employ a number of instruments and once a month get to hear from our Children's choir. If you enjoy music we have a place for you. We are a church family and we enjoy coming together for a great number of various occasions and invite you to join with us as well. We believe that we are required by our faith to reach out to the community and seek to be of service in many different ways.
