College of Dentistry has been operational for more than 35 years. A part of the Ohio State University, it is one of the largest public dental schools in the United States. Located in Columbus, Ohio, the college offers patient care services and academic programs, and enrolls more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students an annually. College of Dentistry provides clinical and laboratory research in areas, such as dental materials science, oral and maxillofacial pathology, hard tissue biology, microbiology, neuroscience, and immunology. In addition to dental education, it provides continuing education programs, on-site dental clinics, outreach activities, and more than 40 extra mural sites. The college offers courses in various areas, including endodontics, oral biology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, anesthesiology, oral pathology, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontology, dental hygiene, radiology, restorative and prosthetic and implant dentistry, dental materials sciences, and prosthodontic residency program.
