Oesterlen Services for Youth, founded in 1903, is a nonprofit mental health treatment center for patients suffering from depression, sexual and substance abuse, mental disorders and behavioral health problems. It operates intensive treatment units and community group homes that offer residential treatment programs for child and adolescent behavioral problems and emotional trauma. The services offered by the center include individual and group counseling; crises intervention and case management; and psychiatric evaluations and psychological testing. It is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies. The center also organizes seminars and undertakes community-based preventive programs in schools and colleges. Oesterlen Services for Youth is located in Springfield, Ohio.
