St. Bede is a well-known Catholic Church of Mentor and holds mass everyday except for Thursday. In addition to supporting the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the church hosts a food pantry. It also has a sewing group, Hats 'N Stitches, that makes booties, blankets, hats and more for those in hospices, emergency rooms and neonatal intensive care units. St. Bede has a library with more than 2,500 books and videos and a Parish School of Religion so that those who do not go to Catholic school can take confirmation classes.
