Northfield Park is the only racetrack in the world with its own microbrewery. The brewery was part of a $10 million renovation that culminated in June 1998. However, beer isn't the main thing on tap at Northfield Park. The Ohio facility is among the nation's premier harness racing tracks. Northfield Park features year-round, live harness racing every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Post time is 7 p.m., except for some special events. Northfield Park, a half-mile track located in the Cleveland-Akron metropolitan area, hosts some of the sport's prestigious stakes races. They include the $1 million Ohio Super Night, which features eight $100,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Championships and the $200,000 Scarlet and Gray Stake; $200,000 Miller Lite Cleveland Classic; $160,000 Night of Champions; $150,000 Courageous Lady; and the $125,000 Battle of Lake Erie, the track's premier event. Northfield Park also features a clubhouse dining room that can accommodate 15 to 1,000 people.
