Located in Youngtown, Ohio, Mahoning County District Board of Health aims to promote and protect the health of individuals and communities within Mahoning County. The board of health and its staff pursue the goal of creating healthy communities by working to fulfill various public health functions, such as preventing epidemics, protecting the environment, promoting healthy behaviors and monitoring the health status of the community.
