Huckleberry House, established in 1970 and located in Columbus, Ohio, assists teenagers and youth in crisis situations, such as family crisis, substance abuse and drug addictions. The center offers a wide range of services that include transitional living, family support, counseling, after care and youth outreach program. It provides specialized services to people of ages between 16 and 21. Its services include independent living skills, mental health and community support, and assisted and independent living mentoring. The center provides assistance to families in the areas, such as school, home, legal and medical issues, and social and spiritual settings. It also organizes after-school care and programs for students, including individual and group counseling, and behavioral care and referrals.
