In 1979, two childhood friends and riding buddies decided to go into the motorcycle business. The only location they could find was an 1,800 square foot building in an alley next to the post office, owned by a relative. This served as their place of business for only six months. In the fall of 1979, they found an old building on St. Rt. 35, the busiest highway in the area. With 3,500 square feet, their work space doubled, and they had a parking lot with 10 parking spaces. Another move of all the bikes, parts, accessories, and tools was accomplished in the first year.
