The Good Neighbors, Inc. provides food and clothing to those in need in the greater Akron area. Only clothing donations are available to Cuyahoga Falls residents in zip codes 44264 and 44286. Food and clothing donations are available for zip codes 44221, 44223, 442223, 44236 and 44262.
The organization was founded in 1957 and today more than 300 individuals work as Good Neighbors volunteers. Donors include private individuals, businesses, churches, schools and other social and civic groups. During the holiday season and back-to-school time of year is when donations are needed most. Good Neighbors works each Christmas to deliver food, toys and gifts to those in need.
