Unison Industries-Elano Division is a branch of the larger Unison Industries, which designs and manufactures electrical and mechanical components, sensors, and systems for aircraft, industrial, marine, military, and aerospace uses. Unison Industries major product lines include turbine and piston engine ignition systems, electrical power generation and control systems, electrical wiring harnesses and panel assemblies, sensors, switches, and bellows assemblies, tubing, ducting, brackets, flex joints and air valves. Unison began with the purchase of Slick Electro, which built magneto ignition systems for piston engine aircraft. In 2002, Unison Industries was acquired by GE Transportation, a producer of large and small jet engines for commercial and military use. Unison Industries-Elano Division specializes in the design and manufacture of nacelle ducting for engine and air frame applications, in addition to engineering operations in the areas of design, development, tooling design, quality assurance, manufacturing processes and value process engineering. Founded in 1950, Unison Industries-Elano Division maintains facilities in Dayton, Ohio, as well as company headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Jacksonville, Fla., with additional operations in Norwich, N.Y., Rockford, Ill., Saltillo, Mexico, Quebec and Rayong, Thailand.
