DATV, Dayton Access Television, has been serving as a community forum since 1978, empowering local residents to learn, create, and express their ideas through electronic media. With over 400 members producing thousands of non-commercial local TV programs annually, DATV continues to be a vital platform for communication in Dayton.
Founded by Roxie Cole with a grant from the Ohio Board of Regents, DATV started as Access-30-Dayton and has since evolved into a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Through workshops, equipment, and facilities, DATV remains dedicated to providing a space where diverse voices can be heard and local information can be shared with viewers across the city.
