Dave's Supermarket was founded in the 1920s. The one on Mayfield Road is located in the Severance Shopping Center. It is open seven days a week. It sells groceries and also has meat, produce, bakery and seafood departments as well as a pharmacy. Gift cards are also available for purchase.

I got a package of noodles and when I poured the contents into the water to cook, it was teeming with bugs (mostly dead). Now I will test Dave's customer service as I seek a refund.

I went to several Dave's while in town; they are all over here. Local chain? A good market: reasonable but maybe slightly high prices, big selection, decent service. Liquor store inside.
