The Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office, located in Cleveland, keeps a record of and files the causes of death on the death certificate in cases coming under its jurisdiction. It delivers, to the prosecuting attorney of the county in which a death has occurred, copies of necessary records relating to death, in judgment of the coroner or prosecuting attorney.
