Established in 1953, The Counseling Center of Wayne and Holmes Counties is a private, nonprofit corporation that provides a variety of mental health services. The center assists individuals on various problems, such as depression, anxiety, child behavior difficulties and relationship problems. It also serves individuals facing grief and loss, job difficulties, suicide, stress-related disorders, and sexual and physical abuse. The Counseling Center of Wayne and Holmes Counties provides assistance to over 3,500 individuals each year and reaches approximately 8,000 additional residents through mental health-related educational programs. The center employs more than 100 professionals in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, social work, counseling and psychiatric nursing. It is nationally certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The Counseling Center of Wayne and Holmes Counties is located in Wooster, Ohio.
