HistoryCostume Gallery is a one-stop professional costume shop. The owner, Joy Galbraith, has a B.F.A. degree in Theatre Design with an emphasis in Costume Design and History enhanced by 25 years of experience in theatre. Our full time staff has an accumulation of 50 years experience in design, pattern drafting, cutting, stitching, millinery, and crafts. - Jackie Andrews: Head Stitcher/Crafts Artisan, has 30 years experience with interior design and execution. She is also our primary problem solver of all things technical or mechanical. Her creative input finds its way into every corner of our business. - Elizabeth Galbraith: Production Manager. After 7 years of technical theatre experience, Elizabeth joined us in 2004, bringing her strong organization skills, as well as a creative eye, to our stock and business processes. Our part time employees have a wide range of experience, working as performers and technicians on Broadway, National touring shows, cruise lines.SpecialtiesNeed just the right costume? We can provide a wide variety for Halloween and other holidays, pirates, mascots, correct period attire, theme parties and much more. Makeup, body paint, wigs, appliances (vampire teeth, Spock ears, Pinocchio noses, and lots more,) weapons, hats, masks ... just so many that we can't list them all. Custom costumes can be made especially for your event. Costume Gallery has a large workroom on premises and can provide seamstress and wardrobe assistants for: Conventions, Commercials, print shoots, Industrial videos, and Special events.
