Founded in 1933, the Columbiana Foundry is a producer of gray, alloy and ductile irons, plus carbon, alloy, stainless and tool steels. The company s patented NoBake sodium silicate process is used to produce castings in prototype, low and medium quantity production runs. The Columbiana Foundry is one of only a few companies in the United States to offer castings in both steel and iron and virtually every class of ferrous alloy. The company is capable of complete casting and pattern design, including the conversion of fabrications, forgings, and other metal parts to castings. Patterns are available in styrofoam, wood or plastics, depending upon needs, such as casting design, pattern life, frequency of use and quantities ordered. The Columbiana Foundry has a 120,000-square-foot manufacturing office and pattern storage facility in Columbiana, Ohio.
