Founded in 1926, Church of the Gesu provides worship, religious education and social services. It organizes several social and recreational events, including retreat sessions, adventurous camps, church meetings, sports outings, community dinners and scouting activities. Church of the Gesu also offers meal preparation, companionship and transient housing services for homeless and disadvantaged families, as well as sacramental programs that include baptism, confirmation, reconciliation and Eucharist. It organizes educational lectures, disability awareness programs and fundraiser events through its volunteers. The church provides hospice care, advocacy and construction services through several mission trips to underdeveloped countries. Additionally, Church of the Gesu operates several commissions, including social concerns, education liturgy, spiritual development, and buildings and properties.
