Bethany School, established in 1899 and based in Glendale, Ohio, offers education to students in lower, middle and upper school levels. The lower school offers special area classes that include music, art, physical education, library, computer, Christian education and Spanish. Middle school curriculum consists of language arts program that stresses on mastery in reading, comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, listening and writing. The science program for middle school students is a balance of hands-on activities and scientific concepts. The upper school curriculum includes social studies, world geography, American history, Spanish and algebra. Laboratory classes are offered through a life science program in seventh-grade and through introductory physical science in eight-grade. Students can also choose from subjects such as speech, debate, Yoga, robotics, music and art.
