Ansco, founded in 1991, is a modern contract and job machine shop serving a wide variety of industries. Its parts are used by several original equipment manufacturers for many products, including tractors, torpedo tube doors, earth-moving equipment and personnel elevators. It also manufactures the trailers that haul the M-1 tank and a coupling used to launch space shuttles. The company originally made high-precision thrust rings for the steel mill roll industry. Its thrust rings go to steel mills throughout the United States and to mills in Asia and Europe. It added high-performance automotive components to its product line including clutch plates for Corvettes, suspension components for General Motor s F Car and aftermarket turbocharger pulleys. Ansco has its facility in Peninsula, Ohio.
